The relationship between Tom and Law is nuanced and really intriguing. which was not something I was EVER expecting with this kind of novel. What was one of the most memorable moments of Force of Law?

Once you know the ending of the book, I think it makes you want to revisit the development of the relationships. I think it's the kind of book that when you've read it once you would be drawn to listening again and discovering and listening to things fresh. Would you listen to Force of Law again? Why? Really, really sexy and surprisingly emotional. if you go along with that it's one of the sexiest scenes i've ever read. Law looks at Tomcat almost like a stallion that has to be broken. There is some definite alpha/sub energy to this book. If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be? In a book with such a hardcore sexy energy - the final moments were so freaking romantic. the bristling tension of the romance is what makes the book so enjoyable. What other book might you compare Force of Law to and why?Īlthough the sex in this book is really intense, the core relationships almost reminded me of a 1930's Hepburn and Tracy romance.

If you could sum up Force of Law in three words, what would they be? The fact that Tom could see it and not call Law out on it shows how much Law means to him.Sooooo HOT. Aside from being an adrenaline boost, it gave the reader another insight into both Law and how much Tom means to him. On top of everything else, this was just another nice touch. His ability to recognize and change was a definite plus. He was a kind of fish out of water in some cases as he discovered who he really was … he took the transition hard. His inner dialogue kept things moving along with at a great pace and had me laughing at the way he saw things. Since we see almost all the story from his POV we get to know him best. And the fact that he never hid was brilliant. His insistence that Tom always say exactly what he means comes back to haunt him.

I loved Law’s relationship with his family … they were the 1st thing to soften his bluntness. There was even some comedy and great one-liners. The intensity and build up are fantastic. Both men had their little quirks and asshole moments but it was nice to see those attitudes slip a little at a time. I liked that the outer appearance wasn’t all there was. Fortunately, there is a well balanced contemporary element and a colorful supporting cast. Loved this one! Can be a bit heavy handed at times, but that is a quality found in many yaoi stories.
